The Old Town
The original Stockholm founded in the 13th century and much is still preserved. It is a wonderful area to explore and enjoy everything from the ridiculously narrow streets to cosy cafés, restaurants and quirky shops.
The Vasa Museum
It’s an amazing museum. The great war ship Vasa sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was then brought back up in 1961. It is a jaw dropping experience and a must see in Stockholm.
The Royal Palace
The palace may not be the most beautiful building, but is still very impressive. Inside the palace we recommend seeing the staterooms, crown jewels and most of all the armoury.
A wonderful museum with a great permanent exhibition and exciting new exhibitions.
To see the archipelago while in Stockholm is a must. Thousands of beautiful islands. Either enjoy one of the many commercial tours or venture out on your own and get the true experience. Many of the tour boats starts at Nybrokajen just a 5 minute walk from Nobis Hotel.
Apart from being in a very nice building with stunning views over Stockholm from the bar on the top floor, the museum offers wonderful exhibitions that are both beautiful and thought provoking.
On the southern island of Stockholm, Södermalm, you will find SoFo. A relatively small area packed with quirky shops, relaxed restaurants, cafes and über cool bars.
A huge openair museum located on the island of Djurgården. It offers beautiful views of Stockholm, a glimpse of how life was in Sweden over the centuries and also a Nordic zoo. Great fun for the whole family.
Lilla Nygatan 21
Ranked number 12 in the world. 2 stars in Guide Michelin. Absolutely stunning food. Make sure you have plenty of time and bring the big wallet.
Mathias Dahlgren - Foodbar
Södra Blasieholmshamnen 6
Amazingly relaxed for a 1 star Guide Michelin restaurant.
Delivers on all levels, food, service, atmosphere.
Fredsgatan 12 (F12)
Delicious food, romantic atmosphere. A great place to ”pop the question”.
Just received its first star in Guide Michelin. A wonderful restaurant where all the delicious food is cooked over an open flame.
Karl XII:s Torg
A classic. Sweden’s most famous dining room, in the same building as the Royal Swedish Opera. A magnificent setting, with views across the water to the Royal Palace.
Oaxen Krog & Slip
Oaxen Slip serves tasty, uncomplicated Swedish bistro. In Oaxen Krog you can experience fine dining. Both restaurants have a clear focus on Swedish, locally sourced, seasonal flavors.
One of our favourite restaurants in Stockholm. Incredibly fresh modern Scandinavian cuisine served in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Karl XII:s torg
One of the oldest and best night clubs in Stockholm. The music and crowd is mixed, but the atmosphere is always great!
V / TheWall
A VIP club where you go to be seen and rub shoulders with the rich and famous of Stockholm.
Ingmar Bergmans Gata 2
New, hip and always packed.
A restaurant that turns into a nightclub. A nightclub that turns into a sauna. Always fun.
The Gold Bar
Our own bar delivers some of the best cocktails in town. A must visit.
Södra Blasieholmshamnen 8
Grand Hotel’s classic bar. Timeless.
A new cool bar in the Old Town. Crazy delicious cocktails.
The ultra cool Swedish brand located in the same building as the hotel. Convenient to say the least.
The only flagship store in Scandinavia. Enough said.
An old stable converted to a café, gallery, shop and more. Quirky and fun.
Birger Jarlsgatan 7
Not just shoes anymore. Great service and cool products. Well worth a visit.
Classic design store with wonderful products and furniture.
