Nordic Ecolabel

Nobis Hotel is proud to present a comprehensive and engaging environmental program that has been awarded the Nordic Ecolabel. Working toward a better environment is a natural part of our mission, and we strive to incorporate environmental considerations into our daily operations. To obtain the Nordic Swan license, organizations must address environmental issues from many different perspectives. Among other requirements, menus must feature organic, fair-trade, and locally sourced food, and efforts must be made to reduce energy consumption, replace environmentally hazardous chemicals used in dishwashing and cleaning, sort waste, and minimize transportation.

About the Nordic Ecolabel

The Nordic Ecolabel’s vision is a sustainable society with sustainable consumption. The Nordic Ecolabel is the official ecolabel of the Nordic countries. Ecolabelling Sweden manages the program in Sweden on behalf of the government. Ecolabelling Sweden is also responsible for the EU’s official ecolabel, the EU Flower.
